Arichuvadi Inaguration function was held on August 15 2006 in Government Primary Middle school in Melathirumathikunnam, Tiruvarur district, Tamilnadu.
Background:
In the academic year 2006-2007, we have taken a collective decision to focus on some remote villages of the Tiruvarur district. As a first part of our initiative we have sent a team of representatives from Arichuvadi to visit the following schools in the Tiruvarur District . Basically this was to get an idea of what they need from us to make them better.
Government Primary Middle School – Vedambur.
Government Primary Middle School – Kodimangalam.
Government Primary Middle School – Melathirumathikunnam.
Government Primary School – Koradacheri.Based on the reports given by the team, we have drafted a action plan for the year 2006. The main decision is to appoint the teachers in the required schools, provide the uniforms and notebooks to the students and help the schools meet the basic needs like construction of water tank, floor etc.
