{"id":5705,"date":"2008-10-05T11:42:47","date_gmt":"2008-10-05T11:42:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iniya.org\/?p=5705"},"modified":"2017-05-02T18:51:18","modified_gmt":"2017-05-02T18:51:18","slug":"gandhi-jayanthi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arichuvadi.org\/?p=5705","title":{"rendered":"Gandhi Jayanthi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good Wishes!<\/p>\n<p>I started penning down with the thought of sharing our recent\u00a0<b>Gandhi Jayanti<\/b>\u00a0celebrations in the scheduled list of schools as part of the initiation of the activities for this year, but I ended up bringing out the mix of human feeling I was thrown into.I felt excited when our\u00a0<b>ARICHUVADI<\/b>\u00a0received an overwhelming response from the Teachers, Parents, and Students and surprisingly from peoples of villages and towns.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:8000\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/gandhi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5370 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:8000\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/gandhi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a>I felt poignant when I noticed the joyous faces of the children. What a gathering we had on a National Holiday! That?s the interest they have on their education and in some regard, that?s the measure of the hope they have on us.I felt embarrassed, when I had a glimpse over uniforms\/dresses the Students worn. It seemed that the third of our basic needs had been almost wiped out from their dictionary. The Uniforms need immediate attention.<\/p>\n<p>I felt the pride when we got catholic quotes for help. Student&#8217;s needs are growing along with their growth. These quotes show our presence and the need for our presence. We need to be more proactive in extending our help.I felt honored; I made my head counted. Again, we had successfully left a ray of hope in the young minds. May I call this an\u00a0<span style=\"color: #00008b; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';\"><b>Educational Enlightenment<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>What next? As you know, our\u00a0<b>ARICHUVADI library<\/b>\u00a0for poor students is to be inaugurated on October 28, 2008. And if I have one query for you, what could it be? Be generous in your donations.
