A message from founder
Hi Friends,
I, Vinoth Selvaraj, a software professional, have my origin from Perumalagaram, a village in Tiruvarur district of Tamilnadu. My career copter started from the Government Primary School, Koradacheri (a small town near my village), geared in a Matriculation school at Nidamangalam (Yeah! The place famous for traditional music), propelled and took off in an Engineering College at Chennai and finally landed in the skyscraper of the Giant IT corridor.
This effervescent journey though fully loaded with hassles and endeavors, have also induced a feel of censure over the disparities in Education. You can well grasp the inequalities between the feeble education systems in villages to that of the robust education in cities both in terms of quality and basic facilities. These sparks burst into flames during my college days and I just wanted to keep it alive.
These sparks with all my analysis accelerated the start of a Public Welfare Organization to aid and assist the students from backward villages to fight against poverty and improve the standards of their education. But initially I had the nagging doubt of whether I would succeed in establishing such an organization. However after seeing the students who left the schools just because of financial constraints and the fact that the money they were short of is ?paltry? and almost equal to what we spend to watch a new movie, I concluded that we should definitely add some meaning to our existence by adding value to the lives of such students.
From then I started collecting galloping information from people in abundance about the nature of help these students may need and how to make this association successful and in due course I coined this Organization as
ARICHUVADI
Arichuvadi is meant only for lending Fishing Rods not Fishes. This will embody people?s values and equip them to fend against day-to-day challenges and enlighten the lives of students who are going to be the future generation.
Now the prototype of Arichuvadi has been designed and the detailed Action plan and guidelines for the organization have been set and published in this website. There is an old saying ?A stone needs to be battered at least 10000 times to be carved into an idol to be worshipped?. Thus your comments, suggestions, innovative ideas and feedback are most valuable to shape this organization into a perfect model for schools in need of help.
If you have interest and some time to devote, then you are already on the red-carpet of the Arichuvadi Action Team which is bound to be re-grouped once in every 12 months. My sincere request to each one of you is, even if you are not in a position to take part in this Organization, exhilarate the poor children in and around your surroundings to establish a career because
Developed India will never be created by our dreams alone and by forwarding the mails that contain those dreams; it is possible only by making a healthy and strong future generations
